Run OpenPrompt on your machine

The desktop app is where the work happens. It sits next to Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex, keeps your prompts and project context local, and reports only what your dashboard needs.

Getting started

  1. 01
    Download and install

Pick the build for your machine above. The installer puts OpenPrompt in your applications folder like any other desktop app.

  2. 02
    Sign in

Opening the app sends you here to sign in, then hands the session back. Your plan and limits travel with the account, so the desktop app and this dashboard always agree.

  3. 03
    Link a project folder

Point OpenPrompt at a repository. It indexes the project, watches the editors you already use, and starts filing prompts, context, and diffs against it.
